It was announced on the 18th that it had signed a memorandum of understanding with Dandi Bioscience, a subsidiary of Next Science (KRW 6,180 0.00%), and Flexense for the commercialization of dementia diagnosis kit products and agreed to conduct joint research.

Dandi Bioscience, a sepsis and dementia treatment development company, has confirmed that biomarkers increase very significantly as the disease progresses through blood analysis of Alzheimer's and dementia patients over the past four years. In particular, as early diagnosis is important to overcome Alzheimer's disease, we are focusing on early diagnosis research using markers in the blood of dementia patients.

Flexens, which independently developed the rapid diagnostic kit platform 'ACCEL ELISA', is exporting the mass COVID-19 diagnostic kit 'Rapid Elisa' developed through it to Russia and other countries.

The two companies plan to develop a next-generation diagnostic kit by combining Dandi Bioscience's high-sensitivity quantitative diagnosis technology of Flexense's ELISA method with a peptide-based substance that specifically binds to dementia biomarkers and endotoxins in the blood. In addition, they plan to jointly develop various customized diagnostic kits using biomarkers specific to various diseases.

Park Young-min, CEO of Dandi Bioscience, said, “In the case of dementia, we need to find a solution by providing quick treatment opportunities through early diagnosis.” will be developed,” he said.

Kim Ki-beom, CEO of Flexenses, said, "We will utilize the ACCEL ELISA diagnostic method, a high-speed immunodiagnostic technology, so that the elderly can lead a healthy and dignified life in a modern society xxxxxwhere the elderly population is increasing." We will do our best to release it as early as possible.”
